High School Memories

Who was your favorite teacher/coach and why: Thad Lubbers loved English and his students, and Mr. Kalsbeek cracked me up.

What high school experience do you still laugh about: Mr. Huber tripping over the open drawer in Algebra.

What is your fondest memory: Honestly, I’d have to talk to people about it, since I spend each day in high school, my days there are a little fuzzy.

Do you remember a senior prank: Yes Where you a part of it: Yes

Did you make a friend(s) you still keep in touch with: You bet!

We are now 33 – give or take a year. What age do feel: Not a day over 25!

Post High Experience

1. Best piece of advice you have received in the last 15 years: “A day hemmed in prayer is less likely to unravel.”

2. Your proudest accomplishment: I don’t know if “proud” is the right word, but I’m thankful I’ve finished college papers while working full time and am a year away from getting a masters degree, I’m beyond enamored with my nieces and nephews (cutest kids ever!), I’m thankful I’ve been able to live in and travel to many places, and I’m blessed by the many people that I can call my friends.

3. Favorite thing about your current life situation: Sleeping in on snow days and many Saturdays.

4. Most important life lesson learned(humorous or serious): Try as I might, I am not in control.

5. An issue you are passionate about and why: I get stoked up about a lot!
